Nothing is ever what it seems in the sleepy English town of Curiosity as over the course of a never-ending weekend we follow various groups of people whose lives are all interconnected without them knowing it. But they all share one thing in common: curiosity kills.

The movie is to combine a film noir-style investigation with an exploration of altered states of consciousness, focusing on the story of 50-year-old Otto Ganz, the owner of a thriving building and civil engineering company that operates worldwide. One day he has to travel to North Africa to deal with some urgent issues and there, Ganz is confronted with memories of his youth, which he had tried to forget for many years.

However, city life isn’(👗)t quite what Hodja expected, and he only survives because of Emerald, a poor but street smart girl, who teaches him how to manage in the big world. But when Hodja loses his carpet to the power-hungry sultan, his luck seems to run out. Will he complete his mission, find El Faza’s granddaughter and return safely back to Pjort?
